This activity is one facet of the Sheriff's Office Crime Prevention Program and is a joint effort between the Sheriff's Office and Gatling Pointe South designed to instill a sense of security and reduce the fear of crime by entrusting community members to be the eyes and ears in their neighborhoods. 

This program teaches participants how to reduce their risk of being victimized and how to recognize suspicious activity.
